has been studying cabinet maker in the Institut Saint-Luc de Tournai in Belgium. There he learned traditional wood-working techniques and understanding of furniture construction through different “styles d’époques”. After his degree as cabinet maker, he specialized in mobiliar creation, where he won the first Prix de Création for his table project “geste”.
His work was exposed in the World Crafts Councel of Mons, Belgium. Besides his studies in Belgium, he has learned the essential knowledge of wood-working through his father, Klaus Fesseler, a renowned furniture restorer of Berlin. In order to broaden his knowledge and get in touch with contemporary design and production tendencies, he attended and graduated from the Escuela Superior De Disseny Llotja in Barcelona.
During his studies he worked as assistant for the architect and painter Victor Pimstein Ratinoff. Since his diploma in 2012, he has created and set-up the Product Design Studio Atelier Fesseler situated in Berlin.
