Veined in shades of red on an ochre-yellowish base, reminiscent of lava flows, belongs to the courtly triumvirate: amaranth, kingwood and rosewood of the French art of furniture making in the 17th and 18th centuries.

Kit: Pressure mechanism and tip made entirely of nickel-plated brass.
Surface treatment: Oiled and polished.
Type of mine: 0,7 mm, without eraser.
